Network Communication can be categories into two types Wired (Guided) or Wireless (Unguided). Bluetooth is one of the most popular short-range wireless communication technology. Bluetooth technology eliminates the need for cables or wires.
Bluetooth works by using radio waves signals for data transmission between at least two devices.
Bluetooth hardware is known as Bluetooth adapter and Bluetooth drivers are used to operating Bluetooth adapter. This short-range wireless technology obeys IEEE 802.15.1 standards. Bluetooth supports 8 devices connected simultaneously.

How Bluetooth Works
Bluetooth wireless network is known as PAN(Personal Area Network) or Piconet. Bluetooth network is a peer to peer network and can contain one Master device and a maximum of up to seven slave devices. First of all Master device generates radio signals within the range for communication with slave devices. As the slave device responds or accept single the master device starts data synchronization. For communication with more than one slave device Scatternets created. Scatternets is adhoc type network which is used to communicate with more than one piconets.
